The IMD’s confidence stems largely from global weather models pointing to negligible chances of El Nino, a warming of the central equatorial Pacific that’s associated with the drying up of monsoon rain.




It has also officially redefined the definition of what constitutes ‘normal’ rainfall and reduced it by 1 cm to 88 cm. The June-September rainfall accounts for 75% of the country’s annual rainfall. “Quantitatively, the monsoon seasonal rainfall is likely to be 100% of the Long Period Average (LPA) with a model error of ± 5%. The LPA of the season rainfall over the country as a whole for the period 1961-2010 is 88 cm,” it said.

The expectation of excess rain comes from a forecast by the dynamical model or the Monsoon Mission Coupled Forecast System — that relies on supercomputers, mathematically simulating the physics of the ocean and the atmosphere. According to this forecast, there is a “high probability (70%)” for the rainfall to be “above normal to excess”.

Last year, the IMD said in April that the monsoon would be ‘near normal’ or a tad below normal. India instead ended up with excess rainfall — or the maximum rainfall in a quarter century — largely owing to torrential rain in August and September from the unusual warming in the Indian Ocean.

The dynamical model, while better at forecasting the state of the weather a week or two in advance, isn’t yet considered reliable by meteorologists in forecasting the monsoon.

The statistical models, which the IMD relied on to make its forecasts, had a 41% forecast probability of normal monsoon. In any given year, there is a 33% chance which is why, said Madhavan Rajeevan, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, there was “high confidence” that the monsoon this year would be normal.

CMO Secretary Ashwini Kumar today announced the importance from the state government. There is a lockdown until May 3 when there is a corona crisis across the country. In this, the state government in Gujarat has taken an important decision in which a big announcement has been made for 66 lakh card holders. Those who come under the National Security Food Act will get this benefit.





With this help, the government imposed an additional burden of Rs 660 crore
CMO Secretary Ashwini Kumar today announced the importance of the government at a press conference. He said that Rs. 1000 assistance is announced to 66 lakh cardholders. Which will be deposited directly into the beneficiary's account and no form will have to be filled for this. He said that this assistance would increase the additional burden of Rs 660 crore on the government.





No form will be required to be filled
Ashwini Kumar said that the assistance would be provided immediately and deposit would be started on Monday in the beneficiary's account. There is no need to fill out any form to get this amount.
Amid growing corona-positive cases in the state, the Romanian government announced the importance of the poor. CMO secretary Ashwini Kumar said at a press conference that it has been decided that Rs.



He said that the state government would also provide Rs 1,000 assistance for the month of April. The amount of this assistance will be deposited in the bank account of all the beneficiary family. He said that due to this help, the state government would have a burden of Rs 666 crore.
Importantly, direct one thousand rupees will be deposited in the accounts of 66 lakh working and poor families. No beneficiary will have to apply for this, Ashwini Kumar said. Apart from that, he said, so far 60 lakh beneficiaries of the state who are not included in the NFSA have so far distributed free ration to up to 45 lakh families.

Changing the home address on the Aadhar card just got easier. Now you can change the address in your Aadhaar card by sending a color photo from your mobile phone. UIDAI tweeted, "Color the supporting document and upload it to your phone." This means your home address will now be updated in just a few clicks without a long line or extra charge.
UIDAI has released a video about it. This video provides information on changing the home address. UIDAI tweeted, first go to website https://uidai.gov.in/ and click on Online Address Update. Enter the correct address and upload the supporting document's color scan file.



Address update process in online support

First, go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/ and click on the My Adhaar tab there. In the second tab of the dropdown, go to Udate Your Aadhaar and click on the third option Update your address online in the dropdown.

Clicking will open a new page. Click on Proceed to Update Address when going down here. A new page will open again. On this page, first enter your Aadhaar number followed by captcha verification and click on Send OTP. Now an OTP will arrive at your Aadhaar Registered Number. Place a 6 digit OTP below the OTP under OTP / TOTP and click on Log in below.

This page has now been given the option of Update Address via Address Proof, Update Address via Secred Code. When linking the address proof option, you will have to fill in the details of the new address on the new page. Then upload the photo of the appropriate document. Now you can complete the next process by clicking on the new option. After verification of your online application, the address on the Aadhar card will change and the new card will be posted to your new address.
