Bharat Ratna, Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has died.
Vajpayee, one of the most charismatic and popular faces of the country's
politics, at the age of 93, breathed his last at the All India
Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. He had been living on AIIMS bed
for more than two months and died due to his death, although he chose a
different path this afternoon and at that time he wrote on 'The Skull of
Time', he traveled from this world. In my words, 'I have taken my life,
I will die from my heart, I will come back, why should I fear fear of
travel'?Three times, Vajpayee, who was the Prime Minister of the country, was away from public life for a long time due to ill health. They were struggling with a serious illness known as dementia. From 2009 onwards, he was on a wheelchair, the countrymen saw him on 27 March 2015, when the then President Pranab Mukherjee came to his residence to honor Bharat Ratna along with Bharat Ratna to honor the true son of Bharat Mata.
Two months ago, Vajpayee's health became worse. Due to infections in Urine, he was admitted to AIIMS on June 11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with BJP and leaders of different parties of the country and many dignitaries came to know their movements. His supporters were constantly praying for their well-being, although Kudrat was perhaps more acceptable.
With the demise of Vajpayee, a golden phase of the country's politics has come to an end. A phase in which political differences are not allowed to be converted into mitigation. Vajpayee was a leader of the opposition for a long time, he was prime minister three times, but his popularity was not acceptable to him or not to any post. As much as his acceptance was within the party, the same was popular among other parties. The reason for this is that after hearing the news about his recruitment at AIIMS, first of all who came to know about his movements were PM Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Even today, when news of his death came, the entire country was drowned in mourning.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee lived for more than five decades in the active politics of the country. He was the first non-Congress Prime Minister of the country. He contested his first Lok Sabha election in 1952, though he got his first win in 1957. Since then, he has consistently been in parliamentary politics since 2009. He became the first minister in 1977, and in 1996 he was also the Prime Minister for 13 days.
However, in 1998 he got a chance to become a PM once again. His government also lasted only 13 months but in the subsequent Lok Sabha elections, NDA coalition government formed a majority and Vajpayee completed his term as a PM. He was elected Lok Sabha member from Lucknow in 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004.
